Kaffetårnet is IrmaByen’s impressive landmark, 38 metres high – about the same height as the Round Tower in Copenhagen. Six spacious floors with metre-high windows are waiting to be transformed into a gathering point for the residents of IrmaByen and Rødovre.
The vision for Kaffetårnet is that it will become the epitome of activity, culture and community. And at the same time the vision is that Kaffetårnet retains its historical value and status as an impressive piece of industrial architecture. The development of Kaffetårnet is pending the local planning process for the transformation.
