New life and green spaces will characterise Valhøjkvarteret when the former industrial area is transformed into a modern neighbourhood providing both apartments and terraced houses.

Valhøjkvarteret in Rødovre is close to childcare facilities and city life, and it serves as a good and safe environment for families with children, singles and retirees who want easy access to both the city and areas of nature. For this reason, the climate and biodiversity are a focus of the development, which will have car-free areas with small oases of urban nature between the buildings. The site is located near the Espelunden park and its sports facilities as well as the Vestvolden fortifications, and the plan is for a green belt to stretch from Valhøjkvarteret to the Vestvolden fortifications.
