It is a great recognition of Jack's expertise, our company, and the work Jack does in developing new serviced living concepts. With Jack at the helm, I am confident that ULI Denmark will make an even stronger mark in the international discourse on how the real estate industry can contribute to social and environmental sustainability."

ULI, is the world's oldest and largest network of experts in the field of real estate and urban development. Renowned for its international research, data, and innovative content, ULI serves as a central voice not only within the European real estate industry but also globally. Currently, ULI boasts 45,000 members spanning the globe. ULI's mission is to shape the future of the built environment by creating and sharing knowledge, a task that Jack Renteria will now lead in Denmark.

Lisette van Doorn, CEO of ULI Europe, has commented on Jack Renteria's appointment: "Jack Renteria has been an esteemed member of ULI for nearly a decade. He has been instrumental in establishing ULI in Denmark as one of the founding members of the local Executive Committee. His commitment and energy towards ULI make him the ideal choice to further expand ULI’s presence in Denmark and we look forward to collaborate closely to make this happen".

Advancing Danish Influence Internationally Jack Renteria will take office as Chairman of ULI Denmark for a two-year term. Outgoing chairman, Jesper Bo Hansen, will remain on ULI Denmark's Board of Directors and looks forward to supporting Jack and ULI's further positive development in Denmark.

"In Denmark, we have world-class architects and builders, and we are pioneers in many fields, including the implementation of new standards for sustainable construction, a position we should exploit further. My chairmanship will focus on expanding the international network for our Danish members. Additionally, I will work to attract internationally prominent ULI members from around the world to Denmark with the goal of sharing their latest research and expertise for the benefit of urban development in Denmark. The upcoming ULI C-Change Summit in Copenhagen on October 11th is just one example of how leading international research and expertise, under the auspices of ULI, can be brought to Denmark," said Jack Renteria.

Among his achievements at ALFA Development, Jack Renteria has been at the forefront of developing the new housing concept "LIVING BY ALFA" in IrmaByen, Rødovre. Jack holds an economics degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada and the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. Prior to joining ALFA Development, he held various positions, including Partner and Director of Business Development at the architectural firm 3XN, where he served for 11 years.

European Summit in Denmark One of the first events happening after Jack becomes chairman is an international summit in Copenhagen – The ULI's European C Change Summit, taking place at the Danish Architecture Center, BLOX, on October 11th. The conference will delve into the barriers faced by the European real estate industry on the path toward sustainable construction.

"ULI is a respected organization and is influential when legislators and decision-makers discuss measures to promote sustainable construction, spanning from financing to realization and operation. It is a great honor for Denmark to welcome European stakeholders and engage in discussions about challenges and opportunities. The climate agenda will fundamentally change the industry, and we need to collectively define the new rules," says Jack Renteria.
