In the heart of IrmaByen
Kernehuset consists of 82 rental apartments situated next to Kaffetårnet, the landmark of IrmaByen. Thus, the homes are located in the heart of the new and vibrant district in Rødovre. When developing Kernehuset, the idea was to create an interaction with the historic tower, and Kernehuset is built using glass sections and light-coloured facades that reference the tower.
All apartments have a large balcony from which you can watch the world go by, and the apartments are flooded with natural light. There are shops and a restaurant just around the corner – and IrmaByen’s own park, as well as Espelunden and Vestvolden, are close by. This creates a variety of recreational opportunities for the residents of Kernehuset.
ALFA Development developed the homes and sold it as a turnkey construction in 2018 to the Dutch real estate company Bouwfonds.
